B: I thought it was time to visit Revolver after reading a few positive articles on where the best brunch in Sydney was. It was a Sunday morning and the place was buzzing. We entered the store without any greetings and was left standing there for a few minutes. After asking the same waitress twice for a table she finally led us to another staff who wrote down our names on the waiting list. However, once we were seated, the customer service did get better.

Mr.K ordered the Soy Latte ($3.20 +$0.50 soy). The latte was nice, with a smooth and nutty taste.

I wanted to order tea because I saw their impressive range of mix-and-match teacups at the front counter and read that their tea are their own organic blend. The waitress recommended the Ginger Spice ($4) which included ginger, lemongrass, calendula flower, rose, orange, cinnamon and sarsaparilla root. I must say, that was the most interesting tea I have ever tasted, with so many elements and fragrances. It’s a very popular tea at Revolver, but I will probably stick to green tea next time I am in. They also provide a little 4 minute timer so you don’t over brew your tea.

We shared the Revolver Big Brekkie ($16.50) which included two eggs baked in their homemade baked beans, honey cured bacon, roasted tomato, mushrooms, honey mustard sausage and toast. This was a very hearty and honest breakfast dish. I’ll be coming back next time I am craving baked eggs.
